Loved to feed people; did her crossword puzzles in ink
Anne Centineo, known as Annie Babes to her friends and family, passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on Friday, Sept. 14, 2018.
Anne was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Palumbo.
A native of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, Anne was married in 1953 to the late Emanuel Centineo. After she married they lived in Washington, D.C., Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Staten Island, N.Y., in 1966, where she lived out the rest of her years.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Rosanne Centineo-Fischer; sons, Joseph and daughter in-law Jodie, Stephen and daughter in-law Barbara; grandchildren, Jessica LaStella, Anthony, Joseph, Stephen Centineo, Victoria Fischer; great-grandchildren, Vincent Jr. and Carmine LaStella; and her brother, Lou, in Florida. She was predeceased by a grandson, Fred Fischer.
Anne joins her brother, Clem, and sister, Millie, who also passed away this year.
