

Anthony V. Pucciarelli, 75, of Arrochar, Staten Island, N.Y., passed away on Nov. 13, 2016. Visitation is Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home. Funeral is at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at St. Joseph Church, Rosebank. Entombment is in Moravian Cemetery. Mr. Pucciarelli retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 2003. He was an adjunct professor at the College of Staten Island School of Business for more than 35 years, and also taught at St. John's University and Wagner College. Anthony served in the Army Reserve (1962-1968) and was active in community and civic affairs. He was the first president of the Arrochar Park Civic Association. He enjoyed golf, piano, reading, travel, fine dining, and was a member of the Debonaires Band during high school and college. He also played at local venues, weddings, and dances during the 1950's and 60's. Anthony is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara McHugh; children, Caroline Edgerton and John Pucciarelli (Kyla); six grandchildren, Logan Edgerton and Vanessa, Nicolo, Ava, Lilly, and Luke Pucciarelli; his siblings, Ann Marie Deuble (Jack) and Lawrence Pucciarelli (Karen), and many loving nieces and nephews. Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Antoinette, and grandson, Neal Anthony Edgerton. Donations may be made to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society.
