My sincere condolences to the family.. Cheryl was a beautiful woman.  Always took the time to share her knowledge and experiences at work.  She will be missed.

I will remember Cheryl as a charming, talented and caring woman who brought Light into my life at every turn.  While I'm saddened to learn of her passing, I imagine  angels rejoicing in song  as they carried her Home.

I am so saddened by this. I worked with Cheryl at SIUH. It was always a pleasure to be around her. My condolences go out to the Soister family. Heaven has truly gained an angel.

I knew Cheryl from SIUH. She was always so nice and helpful. Such a great person she was. My sincere condolences to the family .

Cheryl was one of a kind. I worked with Cheryl and I have to say she was very proficient in her job. She was one of the sweetest and nicest person I knew.

Cheryl was a good friend and neighbor. She was intelligent , had a wicked sense of humor and was an excellent presenter and instructor. She loved animals. Cheryl adopted a shy and nervous mixed breed Labrador Retriever, Jazmin and  Coco, a  Cocker Spaniel mix  and loved them. She was respected and loved by all who knew her. We miss her and while she was taken from us too soon, we are happy that she has gone home to be with her Mom and Grandmother (who were wonderful in their own right). We are glad to have known her.

I have known you since 1971 when we graduated together. Laughter smile good thoughts everything positive. Now you can have a reunion with your family and other classmates that preceded you i.e. Diane Hughes Barbara remtemski Margaret Walsh Maryanne haick rosemary rodondo and Mary Keane etc. Love you and will miss saying happy birthday to you and elvis

Cheryl, dear loving friend, best neighbor.
When I asked my husband what words to use in describing Cheryl, he said she was always considerate of others. That's Cheryl and so much more. But anyone who knew her knows what a great person she was.  
I guess as they say God needed another Angel.

We served together for many years on the Board of our community. She always presented calm thoughtful discussions to our meetings.
Everyone loved her annual presentations! When we needed to publish the newsletter and other documents, she was the wordsmith and Editor. Always super in helping me find the right words. When she looks at this now, she will be correcting the grammar and rearranging the sentences. I'm smiling just thinking about it.
We have been missing you since we moved and were waiting for you to get better and visit. So sad that we won't get to spend time together. Our hearts are broken.

I will always have fond memories of Cheryl; she was a very good person, so giving of herself, her time, her knowledge; I have always looked up to her as a mentor, friend, colleague with her kind ways, sweet smile; she would make it a point to say hello to me in the morning, peeked in/and or passed by since since she knew I would be in early in the morning; she is greatly missed!

My thoughts and prayers are with Cheryl’s family. I worked with her for many years and loved her sense of humor, creativity, kindness and willingness to tackle any challenge.   I always depended on her for support and her ability to make learning and communicating fun!   She always gave of herself and had a way of making everyone feel good about themselves.  I pray she rests in eternal peace in the loving arms of our Lord. May God Bless her soul and all of her family.

My deepest sympathy to Cheryl’s  family.  I was Cheryls recreation worker and had a lengthy conversation a week before her passing.  Unfortunately we had some things in common in regards to her diagnosis.  She wanted to continue to have quality of life but also wanted to education herself of when her time would come. The Monday before her passing I saw Cheryls name on my unit sheet and was looking forward to continuing our talks. When I learned of her passing was a week later. To her 2 brothers and sister in law I met you all when you were collecting her belongings I’m so sorry I couldn’t compose myself as I was in shock .  May she be in a better place. I will miss her dearly. Harya
