Born Debra E. Floch, she grew up in Westerleigh before moving to Port Richmond in 1993.
She graduated from the former St. Peter's Girls High School, New Brighton, and earned an associate's degree from the College of Staten Island. She also attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
She worked as a registered nurse for Safe Harbor Healthcare.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed tennis, skiing, swimming and horseback riding.
She was a parishioner of St. Roch's R.C. Church, Port Richmond.
Surviving are her husband of 24 years Robert Mooney; a son, Martin; a daughter, Rose Mooney, and three brothers, Steven, Scott and David Floch.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Roch's Church. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Brighton.
