Dominick Cimei, WWII Marine Corps veteran. Dominick Cimei, 89, of Great Kills, Staten Island, N.Y., died on March 17, 2016. Mr. Cimei was the beloved husband of Nancy (La Barbera) for 67 years; father of Nancy Cimei, Robert Cimei and his wife, Lucille, and Angela Perretta and her husband, Bob; loving grandfather of eight (predeceased by his grandson, Firefighter Michael D'Auria-9/11); great-grandfather of three. Born on March 21, 1926, Dominick was a retired paper handler for the NY Daily News and an avid Yankees and Giants fan.
