Ellen and the Schorkoph Family were our neighbors. Ellen  came with Ken and l to our Church El Bethel after many years of Ken and l inviting her.  This was a wonderful  thing, l believe Ellen found the Lord in a new and wonderful way. Because of this New Relationship with the Lord Jesus we will see  Ellen in Heaven when Our Lord Jesus calls us who know Him as  Our Lord and Savior Home in Heaven.

I was saddened to hear about Ellen’s passing.  My late husband, Ken Morris, and I were her neighbors with her on St John Ave.  Sincere condolences to the family. 🙏

We were so fortunate to share in each other’s lives on St. John Avenue, could not have asked for a richer childhood.  Grateful for Ellen’s part in it, saddened to hear of her passing. Glad she is at peace.

Ellen had a powerful voice and was often the “lead singer” when family and friends would sing holiday music or show tunes around the house.  Her powerful voice came with a vibrant and memorable personality, and I love seeing photos of Ellen, her family members, and friends from her youth.  May she rest in peace.

I was fortunate enough to have grown up in the house next door to the Schorkopf family. I have many fond memories of summer afternoons, all windows open, hearing Ellen singing in her "operatic" style while being busy around the house. Sometimes we would stop and talk "over the fence," sit in the sun on the back deck, or even take a quick dip in our family pool. Ellen was often excited to tell me about projects that she was doing around the house, and often shared books she had read . I was sad to hear of her passing.
