Ferdinand Fiore Jr., born April 3, 1939, died peacefully in his home on July 23, 2016, surrounded by his family. Ferdinand "Fred" was a native of Staten Island and grew up in Port Richmond. After marrying his high school sweetheart, Dorothy (Hermann), they settled in Westerleigh. They were married for 55 years. "I had 55 years of laughter with my best friend," stated his wife, Dorothy. Ferdinand owned and worked for the family business, Fiore Brothers Oil Company, which was well established for 65 years. Visitation is Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home. Mass is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church.
