Gerard Robert Miller

The world lost a true original on Friday, February 13, 2026 when Gerard Robert Miller died. He might’ve got called home by God but, his time on earth was a life well lived. Gerard was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 31,1963. He was the fourth child of Gerard and Rita Miller. He was a brother to James (Lisette), Steven (Anna), Margaret Blake (Joseph), Diana Ivone (Robert) and Patrick.

On October 4, 2008 Gerard married the love of his life Janine and we gained another sister and aunt. Gerard and Janine had 18 incredible years together. Gerard enjoyed all aspects of outdoor life. He loved to fish and was a gifted photographer. He loved his career with the DEC. Gerard was dependable in every way. He was compassionate and kind. Gerard intuitively knew how to support those he loved and cared for.

You could not ask for a better son, husband, brother, Godfather or uncle. He didn’t give life to his nephews and nieces, but he loved them all the same. From oldest niece to youngest he had, Susie, Ian, Tara, Gerard, Jeffrey, RitaMarie and seven great nieces and nephews. Gerard we thank you for a life well lived and leaving this world a better place.
