

Jane Evelyn Zysk, born June 13, 1956, to Walter and Evelyn Tonnessen, passed away on January 13, 2026, surrounded by love and faith. Jane lived a life defined by compassion, service, and devotion to both her family and friends.
Jane was married to Lawrence Miraldi, and was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Lauren Jane Zysk Parry (Seth) and Kristin Norman (Nathan). She was a proud and loving grandmother to six cherished grandchildren (Williams, Elin, Marlee, Graeme, Matthew and Samuel), each of whom brought her immense joy.
Jane is also survived by her brother, Glen Tonnessen (Nancy) and her sister, Carolyn Ahlstrom (Joseph). She was a loving aunt to three nieces and a nephew, with whom she shared a special bond and deep affection.
For 46 years, Jane served as a nurse at Richmond University Medical Center, where her dedication, skill, and gentle spirit touched countless lives. Nursing was not just her profession—it was her ministry, and she carried it out with grace, strength, and heartfelt care for every patient she encountered.
Jane was a faithful and active member of Salem Church, where her deep faith guided her actions and relationships. During her time at Salem, she began a Celebrate Recovery ministry, offering hope, healing, and support to many through her testimony and leadership.
Jane will be remembered for her servant’s heart, her quiet strength, and her steadfast love for Jesus Christ and others. Her legacy lives on through her family, her friends, her church, and the many lives she helped heal and restore.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
