Jeffrey Gordon Lampert M.D.

6/15/1949 – 3/19/2026 - Jeffrey “Jeff” Lampert, 76, son of the late Charles and Rhoda Lampert, died on March 19th, 2026. Survived by his beloved wife Diane; daughter Katherine (Michael); sister Wendy (Norm); brother Ron; grandchildren Caroline and Jesse, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jeff grew up in the Detroit area where he attended Southfield High School. As a child, Jeff worked in his grandfather’s grocery store and loved playing his clarinet in the school band.

Jeff graduated from Wayne State University and Michigan State College of Human Medicine, completed a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Chicago, and an additional residency in

Anesthesiology at the McGaw Medical Center at Northwestern University.

A devoted anesthesiologist specializing in pediatrics, Jeff worked on the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic in New York. He was dedicated to his patients, esteemed for his skill in providing care to young children as well as patients of every age, and known among residents as a wonderful teacher.

Jeff was equally committed to his family. He was kind, introspective, intelligent, handsome, calm under pressure, loved classical music, animals, and quiet nights in.
