On Sunday January 15th, Karen Marie Sage, passed away quietly at home after a 2 year battle with cancer. She was fifty-nine years old. Born to Diane and James Sage, Karen graduated from Susan E. Wagner High School.
Karen worked at Eger Nursing Home for seventeen years, first in the laundry and then as a dedicated nurse's aid. She retired in 2013.
Karen loved reading, crocheting, hanging with her many friends, and sitting in the sunshine! She enjoyed watching her weekly TV shows, and had a great love of dogs. Karen's favorite hangout was the Jersey Shore sitting on the beach.
Karen is predeceased by her parents, her sister Janet Palazzola, and her son, William Waite.
