Kathleen Pugliese

Born June 30, 1959, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Francis P. and Margaret Gilhooley.

A graduate of St. Joseph Hill Academy, Kathleen graduated from Wagner College with a B.S. in accounting and an MBA in finance. While at Wagner, she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.

Kathleen was vice president of finance at Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank. She was managing director of financial planning and analysis at the New York Stock Exchange, Euronext. At the time of her death, she was the director of financial planning and analysis at Springleaf Financial Services.

Kathleen took immense joy supporting her family as a working mom, and always encouraged her sons in all they did. She loved family vacations with her family at their lakeside home in the Poconos. She was a member of St. Clare's Parish.

Kathleen leaves behind her husband of 38 years, Joseph; two sons, Joseph and James; a brother, Steven and his wife, Hiroko; a sister, Eileen Cro and her husband, Bill; a niece, Deryn, and nephews, William and Shawn.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:45 a.m. in St. Clare's Church. Visitation will be held Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in the Casey McCallum Rice Funeral Home, 30 Nelson Ave.
