K.A. Simon, 85, of Staten Island, NY passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 15th 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Ayroor, Kerala, India to his late parents K.I.Abraham and Aleyamma Abraham. He served in the Indian military from 1961 to 1964. He immigrated to the United States in 1970.
K.A. Simon was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He spent over 40 years working for the State and City of New York. He was an avid traveller, enjoyed working in his garden, planting and growing vegetables and watching wrestling on TV.
K.A. Simon is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Elsie Simon, his two children George and Joseph, a daughter-in-law Jeannette, and two granddaughters Sophia & Lily who were the lights of his life. He also leaves behind many dear friends and family from around the world, who will miss his kindness and wisdom.
