Born in Brooklyn, she was the eldest daughter of the late Mariano and Margaret (Scullion) Tritini. Ms. McMillan graduated from St. Peter's HS for Girls and St. Vincent's Nursing School. Linda worked as a Risk Claims Representative at Rutgers University (formerly UMDNJ) and retired in February 2022 after a 36-year career.
Linda will be remembered by all whom she encountered in her life as a kind, thoughtful, funny, opinionated, hard-working, vivacious, and elegant woman whose inner beauty far surpassed her external beauty. She had a laugh that would brighten any room she was in as well as a wonderful sense of humor, and razor-sharp wit. She enjoyed spending time at the Jersey Shore and going for long walks at Snug Harbor. An avid college basketball fan, Linda attended more than 25 Final Four events with her longtime partner and significant other, William Rice of West Warwick, RI.
Linda is survived by her beloved daughter Erin McMillan, son-in-law Grant Geisler and beloved granddaughter Maggie of Denver, Colorado, her sister Angela (Tritini) Langone, brother-in-law Vito Langone, of Pine Beach, NJ and her nieces, Nicole, Gabriela, and Jessica and their children Luca, Dean, Wynston, Giancarlo, and Vito, and her brother Frank Tritini of Jackson, NJ and his children Ryan, Nicholas, Tristan, Holden, and Dylan. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Mariano and Marge.
Memorial contributions can be made to Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden.
