

Lucille Marie Dolce, born August 23, 1935, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, at the wonderful age of 90. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Dolce, her parents, Anthony and Helen Leo and her brother, Anthony Leo.
Lucille, lovingly known as Chickie, is survived by her three daughters: Evelyn Arrigo (Andrew, deceased), with whom she lived with for the past ten years; Joanne Lockwood (Jimmy); and Mary Ann Harkins (Scott). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to five grandchildren: Andrea Arrigo; Richard Arrigo (Chamaigne); Toni Ann Fierro (Nick); Jackie DePonte (Daren); and James Lockwood. She was also blessed with and adored her six great-grandchildren—Lilia, Andrew, Sloane, Nicholas, Peter, and Stella—who lovingly knew her as “GG,” a name that brought her great comfort and happiness in her later years. She was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her seventh great-grandchild this April. Lucille is also survived by several cherished nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She truly treasured every moment spent with her family.
Lucille enjoyed many days playing the slot machines in Atlantic City and took great pride in her creative pursuits, including ceramic classes for many years and knitting sweaters and blankets for loved ones. Up until just weeks before her passing, she could still be found enjoying a lively game of Mahjong. She loved watching her TV, game shows and Jeopardy, she often joked that she should have been a contestant on Jeopardy, as she knew almost all the answers.
Lucille and her late husband Joe loved snow-birding in Florida, where they spent time with friends they had known for most of their adult lives. Together with these dear friends, they traveled often and were members of a Gourmet Club for more than 40 years, cooking and enjoying foods from around the world. In their younger years, Lucille and Joe enjoyed square dancing, participating in Marriage Encounter, and being active members of the St. Clare community and Parish for over 50 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucille’s memory may be made to ,Vascular Birthmark Foundation, Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, all causes that were dear to her heart.
Lucille/Chickie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
