Marie A. Mondello

Born and raised on Staten Island, Marie graduated from Port Richmond High School and went on to build a successful 33-year career as an administrative assistant in the financial industry. She was known for her warm heart, unwavering dedication to her family, and her love of traveling and spending time with her cherished family and friends.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Mondello, who passed away in 1992. She is survived by her loving children: her daughter Irene and her husband Robert, and her son Daniel and his wife Marie. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Cristina and her husband Thomas, Matthew and his wife Christina, Raymond, Samuel, and Daniel. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren: Thomas, Andrew, and Robert, who brought her endless joy.

A visitation for Marie will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 1634 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10314.

Following the service, a committal will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 52 Tyler Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310, at 12:00 PM.

Marie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
