Raised in Brooklyn, then Queens, and finally in Staten Island during his teenage years. Affectionately remembered by all who knew him, Michael attended New Dorp High School before launching into his career as a drywall taper in the construction business. Known for his happy-go-lucky nature and great sense of humor, Michael's light-hearted jokes could lift even the dullest of days.
He leaves behind his mother, Grace; siblings Donna, Valerie, Joanne, and John; nieces Denise, Jennifer, Christine, Dana, Danielle, and Nichole; nephews Anthony, Mario, Nicholas, Louis, John, and godson Anthony; eight great-nieces and eight great-nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Michael's love wasn’t limited to his family; he was also a man who thoroughly enjoyed drawing and cheering for his favorite baseball team, the NY Yankees. Whether indulging in devil dogs, coffee, and chocolate ice cream, or savoring a good glass of milk, Michael truly loved the simple joys of life. His most quietly eager fan, his beloved cat Coco, shared these moments with him, right by his side.
Known for a heart as full as his laughter was memorable, Michael truly defined generosity—it is said he’d surely give someone the shirt off his back if needed. Michael's legacy continues with the collection of joyous moments infused with unique wit and abundant warmth.
While we bid farewell to a loving soul whose impact resonates deeply across hearts, we remember him for his kindness and fun spirit generously spread to all fortunate enough to have known him.
