In Loving Memory of Aunty Nancy

Dear Uncle Jude and Cousin Prisca,

It is with a heavy heart that I write these words as we remember our beloved Aunty Nancy. Her passing has left a void in our lives that cannot be easily filled.

When my family and I first arrived in the USA, Aunty Nancy was there for us in ways I can never forget. She went above and beyond to help me find work so I could support my family during those challenging early days. Her kindness and determination made our transition to a new country so much more bearable.

Aunty Nancy had a special way of bringing support to us in countless ways, often surprising us with her generosity. She would appear with unexpected gifts and assistance without fanfare or need for recognition—that was just her way of showing love.

I'll always cherish how she loved to joke with my wife Chrislove on the phone. Their conversations were filled with laughter and warmth that brightened our home. That playful spirit of hers was truly special.

Even during her time in the hospital, when I heard her voice, I was filled with hope. There was such joy and strength in the way she spoke that it made me believe everything would be okay. I never expected we would face this sudden farewell.

Losing someone we love is perhaps the hardest challenge we face in life. Yet I find comfort in believing that Aunty Nancy is now in a better place, free from pain and watching over her family with the same care and love she showed us in life.

Uncle Jude and Prisca, please know that we share in your grief and stand with you during this difficult time. Be strong, as Aunty Nancy would want you to be. Her spirit and the memories of her kindness will continue to guide and inspire us all.
