This day meant so much to me, when you and Yatta came to see Atarah when she was born. Thank you so much for your love and guidance throughout the years. You’ll be missed.

I was one of the many students of Ms. Lockhart over the years. I will never forget her kindness, and the inspiration she gave to all of us. She truly was one of one. May she rest peacefully.

Ms. Lockhart was an amazing soul. I  remember having her as a teacher in P.S. 57. She made so much effort trying to improve the community with the garden and restoring Ives pond. She also was just a wonderful person that shaped the woman I am today and my love of learning. I am so grateful to have had her as an educator. Her legacy will live through me and all the kids she taught and touched. She will be missed dearly ♥️

My family met Patricia through Soapbox Derby where we ended up traveling with her out to Ohio. She made my son and all the Staten Island racers feel like champions. I have  no doubt the experience Patricia created for my son as a then 7th grader helped build his confidence and shape him to be the young man he is today. That trophy she is handing him still sits on his bookshelf today and the memories of that week in Ohio will stay with us forever. Thank you for sharing your life and your passion with our family.

I’m so sorry to hear this  Pat you will truly be missed. You were a great person. I thank you for all the you have done for the GKILL challenges. I know Ryan is going to miss doing the soapbox Derby with you.  May you rest in peace, my thoughts and prayers are with the family. 💔🙏🏻🕊️

She will truly be missed. Ms. Lockhart was undeniably a pillar in the Liberian community, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. I’m certain that each of her former students will speak fondly of her significant contributions to their personal and professional success. 
For me, as an immigrant, I can say with conviction that had I not experienced Ms. Lockhart’s 3rd grade class,  301, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. She was more than just a teacher; she was a mother figure to all of us. Her warmth and nurturing spirit created a safe haven where we could learn and grow. I am especially grateful to Dana for sharing her with us during those formative years.
Ms. Lockhart had a remarkable ability to care for every child who walked through her doors. Her compassion extended beyond the classroom—she adopted Bioma, a little boy from Liberia, and provided him with love and support until his passing. Her generosity of spirit touched many lives, and her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she inspired.
From my perspective as a student to my role within the Liberian community, I can say that Ms. Lockhart was like family to us all. Her impact was profound and lasting. Now, she is at peace, reunited with her loved ones, including Mr. Curtis, the President of SILCA. We are grateful for the time we had with her and will remember her fondly. Rest in peace to this wonderful teacher. This was the teacher who help started my career interest.  She gave me so many opportunities when I was a elementary student in P.S.57 and she is the teacher who spark my interest in science.  I remember her always in my heart for being that teacher who never gave up on their students and gave opportunities to kids that didn't have access to them. I will never forget being part of the green team and robotics team and helping attend the school garden. One of my favorite memories was my senior trip where she took care of us upstate campsite and we tested the water ph and see salamanders for the first time. She done so much for me and if I wasn't for her , I would not have know that I love science so much. God bless this wonderful teacher and I will never forget her.

Cherishing these memories today, made possible by Ms. Pat Lockhart. Taking us out of our little worlds for an amazing weekend, showing us there's more out there and its in your reach. Releasing trout in NY rivers that were taken care of in her science room, week long trips to the dairy farm in Vermont, and soap box derby days in NYC and Ohio. You were a woman with a giant heart with the personality to match. There wasn't a room you entered where you didn't make yourself heard if it was for the benefit of your students. I know there are many who are saddened to hear of your passing, you were an amazing person who affected the lives of many. My deepest and heartfelt condolences to you and your family, and again thank your for all you have done!

Wow I wish I was in Staten Island to see you off...your were a angel on earth. Ms.Lockhart I hope you knew just how many lives you touched and how many children you saved. You will always be one of the most influential teachers my brothers and I had ever in life. When I found out the news a shed a few tears because you always been special. I still remember the talk we had in 3rd grade in PS 57 telling me to reach for the stars and I have been reaching since. I'm praying for your family and the children that was in your life at the time of your passing. You were cut from a different cloth they don't make teachers like you anymore. Always supportive of the community and the children of tomorrow. Love you forever Ms. Lockhart !

From the first day I met Patricia Lockhart, She was my neighbor .I used watch her apartment when she need me . We both had each other back in good and bad times . Pat made holiday and birthday special for my son . She took me and my son to amazing places that would make my son eyes pop out and bring smile on his face. She also help Hector join the softball and he won his first reward . She brought the strength out of me being a mom. She always supported me and guide me though so much. She was amazing person and help my son though education and taught me things I did not know in education that can guide him though school . She knew my son loved his xbox and she was the only one that gave him a gift it was a gift card from gamestop that he brought his first game . She also help him with a scooter so he can ride with other children in the park . Pat also brought my son and me to new jersey water park and she was also there when I almost drown and she save me.   She had so much love for my son. I can say she was there for so many of people . Pat was a special person to me. I will miss her so many people and hold on all the memories she share. Pat thank you so much for everything and bring the best of my son and believe in him . I know you never met hector daughter but I know you will guide him from heaven. Now she is a angel with golden wings that she truly earn . The memories I have with Pat is a lifetime memories that I will hold on to. Now you are in heaven looking down I know you are watching over us .Thank you so so much I will miss you and you will be in my heart . I love you Pat

Ms.Lockhart made my childhood so memorable and I will always appreciate and love her for that. She made sure everyone was taken care of and safe. I’m so grateful that I got to experience her compassion and selflessness, Heaven gained an angel 💙 Rest In Paradise Queen. To her family thank you for sharing her with us all, I pray that the lord comforts you all.

You always went far above and beyond your duties as a teacher. You became family. This is such a devastating loss but I hope you always knew how loved and appreciated you were. I’ve known you my entire life and you were someone we all thought would be around forever, teaching and mentoring and caring for the next generation. Thank you for everything. Your rest is so well earned.

You did it all with a full heart and will never be forgotten for it . I started my career with you so many laughs over the years and crazy moments. I met Pat through work. I thought it would be a casual sharing of information but it turned into a friendship. She was an inspiring woman, teacher, mother, and grandmother.  She mentored me and gave her time and resources to my students and teachers in the Bronx. I am so lucky to have met Pat. She brought so much joy, knowledge, and sportsmanship to hundreds of children and adults.
 I will miss you my friend! I hope you are enjoying some shrimp parmigiana and soap box racing in the heaven!

Thank you Pat for helping me bring Soap Box to the students of the Bronx. My principals, students, and superintendents of the Bronx love this STEM program! You helped put the Bronx on the map as Soap Box Racing hub! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion with us. We will never forget you.

Pat was a wonderful generous person! She provided this young man and his grandpa an experience they will remember forever. She drove the young man and grandpa to Ohio so he could compete in the championship soap box race week! She never said no and always offered a helping hand. The world just lost a true gem of humanity.
