

Born in the Bronx, NY, to Lillian Schwartz and James Forgrave on August 28, 1949, she later moved to Manhattan, NY where she met her late husband, Victor Cella. They married in 1971 and in 1974 moved to Staten Island, NY, where they raised their three daughters.
She retired in 2020 as a legal secretary for Skadden Arps, where she worked for over 45 years.
She built many friendships and lasting memories during that time and wherever she went.
She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, spending time with her grandkids, eating at Andrew’s Diner, watching Hallmark movies and playing Wordle. She also enjoyed spending her time outside gardening, feeding the birds and tending to her koi pond.
Pauline is survived by her beloved children, Nicole (Louis) Matarazzo, Danielle (John) Pumilia, and Suzanne Cella; grandchildren, Olivia, Louis and Christopher Matarazzo; her sisters, Catherine (Michael) McGowan and Linda Harris; four nieces; and her pet miniature dachshund, Hanna
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Cella and her brother James Forgrave.
She was a beautiful person inside and out. She has made an impact on so many lives with her generosity and loving heart. She will be deeply missed.
