Dr. Peter T. Gastaldi "Gisto"

Dr. Peter T. Gastaldi, age 51, was born February 24, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York, and lived on Staten Island, NY when he passed. He is survived by his loving daughter, Bianca Marguerite (Sweet Pea), beloved mother Gloria (nee Bongiorno) and the late Joseph M. Gastaldi; his brothers, Dr. Michael Gastaldi (Roseann Caputo) Joseph (Jennifer nee Pairitz) and nephew Dominic. Also survived by his former spouse Brenda-Marie Picone. Visitation is at Casey Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb.16, 2022 from 4pm-8pm and Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022 , from 3pm-8pm. Mass is at St Ann's Church at 10:30am on Friday. Burial is at Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn NY. Peter was a longtime parishioner of St. Ann's Church in Dongan Hills. He graduated Monsignor Farrell High School, received a B.S. in accounting from St. John's University and earned a degree from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. Board certified in electro diagnostics. Also a member of Local 15D Operating Engineers working as a surveyor on NYC construction projects. Peter's hobbies included skiing, bowling, softball, basketball and boating. He enjoyed carpentry and working with his hands. He was a dedicated fan of the NY Rangers, Washington Redskins, and NY Yankees. Dr. Gastaldi was a chiropractor who was so compassionate with all of his patients. He loved spending time with his daughter at NY Ranger games, riding bikes, going to LBI, skiing, board games. He also coached his daughter's Softball team. Better known as "Gisto" to all of his lifetime friends. Peter died peacefully on February 12, 2022.
