It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Winn (U Pe Tin Win), age 101, of Staten Island, New York on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Peter was born on September 23, 1923, in Myanmar to the late U Ni Kaw and Daw Yone. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and accomplished Head of Budget Department in the Ministry of Trade in Myanmar. Peter was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Winn and survived by children, Peter Winn Jr.(Kyi), Terrance(Michelle), and Rachel(Reggie); and grandchildren Oliver and Scarlett.
A visitation for Peter will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314.
