Rita McQuade

Rita was born in Limerick, Ireland in 1934. She then came to America in the early 60's, within a few years she met and married Robert J. McQuade. From Queens She moved to Brooklyn in the early 80s to Staten Island. Rita was employed by the Arch-Diocese of New York In the administration department. Rita was a devoted Catholic, after her retirement she continued to work in St. Peters Church in Manhattan.

In 1994 she and her husband suffered the greatest loss of their lives after their only child Emily M. McQuade, age 21 years old passed away in a car accident. Her husband Robert (Bob) passed away in March of 2019. Rita is survived by her brothers Anthony and Patrick McNamara who live in Limerick Ireland. Rita is also survived by her two sisters Ann Butler of London, England and Bridgett Clancey of Limerick, Ireland. She also had many nieces and nephews in bother England and Ireland

Twenty-Third Psalm

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;

He leadeth me beside the still waters. He

restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the

paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of

the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for

Thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they

comfort me. Thou preparest a table before

me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou

anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth

over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow

me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell
