Robert Calitri

Robert (Bob) was born in Queens, NY and moved to Staten Island in 1980. He was married to Ethel for 45 years and was a loving father to Diana and Robert and cherished grandfather to Alexandra, MarieaRose, Emily and Robert. Father in Law to Ryan and Annmarie. He was also a beloved Uncle and cousin.

Bob was a graduate of Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School. He graduated from St. John's University with a bachelors degree in history and also a masters degree in accounting. From then, he remained a loyal fan of St. John's.

Bob worked for GHI 28 years as Financial Director and afterwards did various jobs in accounting post retirement from GHI.

Bob loved life and time with his family especially his grandchildren who were the lights of his life. Bob loved to travel, big Yankees, Giants and St. John's fan. He also loved horse racing and going to the track, Disney, and Las Vegas.

He prided himself on the fact that he was always right - and he usually was. He will be greatly missed by all.

Robert Calitri of Manor Heights passed away February 18, 2026, age 73.
