

Mr. Tummino was born and raised in South Beach. He settled in West Brighton in 1986.
He graduated from New Dorp High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.
Mr. Tummino worked for 45 years in the insurance industry as an information services specialist. He retired in 2006.
He was a member of Madonna Council, Knights of Columbus, and belonged to the YMCA in West Brighton.
He was a highly skilled computer technician and an adroit programmer who enjoyed building them from scratch. He also enjoyed gardening and working out to stay fit.
"He was a loving husband, who was strong and patriotic," said his wife, Arlene.
In addition to his wife of 26 years, Arlene, he is survived by his brother, Vincent and his sister, Judith Fasone.
The funeral will be Monday from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a mass at 11 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, West Brighton. Arrangements include cremation.
