Roberta Cusumano

Our precious mother, wife, and nonna Roberta Cusumano passed away peacefully in St. Augustine, Florida on January 11, 2025. Roberta was a tenacious nurturer, full of kindness and determination. She was a lover of words and music, particularly her husband’s piano playing. Roberta touched everyone fortunate enough to know her warmth and appreciation for life. She will be affectionately remembered for her legacy of gratitude, goodness, and unwavering strength. She was a devout catholic and longtime parishioner of Holy Family Church. May she rest in peace in God’s loving arms.

Roberta was the loving daughter of Julia and Carmine Russo. She is survived by her beloved husband, James, to whom she was married for 41 years, as well as her daughter Charlotte and son-in-law Andrew, and two grandchildren Carlo and Dante.

A visitation for Roberta will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 29, 202,5 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Church of the Holy Family, New York, NY 10314. A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Peters Cemetery, 52 Tyler Ave, New York, NY 10310.
