

Rosalie Shust, 74, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 27, 2018 at her home in Staten Island surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Shust was born and raised in Mayguez, Puerto Rico, moving to Manhattan and later on to Brooklyn where she raised her family in Coney Island for 28 years before settling in Staten Island. She worked for the Federal Reserve as a clerk for many years and as the "Jack of All Trades" for Walbaums for 32 years. Rosalie volunteered as an Eucharistic Minister for Our Lady of Solace Church in Coney Island. She was an avid walker and was known for her cooking, but her true passion in life was spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by all.
Mrs. Shust is predeceased by her parents, Juan Bautista and Marcelina Ramos and three brothers.
Rosalie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas, daughters, Lorraine and Hernan Feliciano and Barbara D'Alessio and her husband Peter, grandchildren, Erika Jastrzembski and her husband Pete, Joseph D'Alessio, Andrew Feliciano, Samantha D'Alessio and Nicole Feliciano, two sisters and five brothers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Casey Funeral Home 350 Slosson Ave. Staten Island, NY 10314. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 10:30AM at the Our Lady of Pity Church in Staten Island. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island.
