Rose Marie Klein

Born in the Little Italy section of Manhattan Rose Marie Russo, she was a graduate of St. Patrick’s Cathedral High School and briefly lived in the Bronx after getting married and settled on Staten Island in New Dorp in the early 1960s.

A homemaker, Mrs. Klein was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church in New Dorp where she was a member of the Parents Guild. She also served as president of the Residents’ Council at Silver Lake.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing bingo, cards and bowling.

Her husband of 32 years, Edward, died in 1993.

Surviving are two sons, Andrew and Richard, and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be Friday from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Burial will be in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp.
