Stephen L. Lindsey

Stephen Louis Lindsay, 63, of Staten Island, New York, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. A lifelong, Staten Islander, he was born on October 21, 1959 in Tompkinsville. He enjoyed many trips to his favorite place, Lake George, where he enjoyed boating and swimming with his family and friends. Steve worked as a local union bricklayer for over 30 years until his retirement in 2022.

Stephen is predeceased by his mother, Joan Lindsey, his father, George Lindsey, his sister, Joan Lindsey, and his daughter Madeline Lindsey.

Stephen is survived by his son, Steven Louis Lindsay Jr., his brother, George Lindsey, his nephew, George Junior and his niece, Claire Lindsey.

A visitation for Stephen will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 10 Austin Pl, Staten Island, NY 10304. A committal service will occur Monday, August 21, 2023 at 12:15 PM at Woodland Cemetery, 24-32 Highland Ave, Staten Island, NY 10301.
