Alexis Lynn Grant Carrington

Miss Alexis Lynn Grant Carrington, age 14, died Sunday at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. She was in the 7th grade at Southeast Bulloch Middle School and was a member of the band. Alexis was very outgoing and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, watching movies, going to school dances, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Vicki Miensma; her maternal grandfather, Lee Grant; and her uncle, Kevin Ryan Carrington.

Survivors include her parents, Jay and Miranda Carrington; her brother, Jason Ryan Carrington; her paternal grandparents, Harold and Blondean Carrington, all of Brooklet; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Rev. John Parker officiating.

Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be the 6th and 7th grade band members at Southeast Bulloch Middle School.
