Barbara Dixon

Mrs. Dixon was born and raised in South Carolina and lived in Savannah for 13 years before moving to Stilson in 1986. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Savannah and was a homemaker and loving mother.

She is survived by: 3 sons, John Chapman (Brenda), Brooklet; George Powers and Sammy Powers, both of Lexington, NC; 2 daughters, Holly Powers, Lexington, NC and Barbara Dickerson, Roxboro, NC; brother, Luther B. DeWitt, Florence, SC; 16 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, November 4, in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 5, in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Reverend Ron Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park-West, in Savannah.

Hodges-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
