Eric Olen Palmer

Eric was born in Germany on November 10, 1980. He moved to Bulloch County in 1989 and attended Stilson Elementary School and Southeast Bulloch High School before graduating from Moline High School in Moline, IL.

After graduating high school, Eric joined the United States Army and served two tours of duty during the Iraqi Freedom Campaign. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid sports fan. He was of the Baptist faith.

Eric is survived by his parents, Fred O. and Billie Jean Smith Palmer of Brunswick; son, Braylon Palmer; daughter, Delaney Palmer both of Rockford, IL; sister, Jamie Leigh Thompson; and nephew, Caden Thompson both of Brunswick.

A gathering to family and friends will be held 5:30 to 7:00 PM Friday, January 19th in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with military honors being presented at 5:45 PM.

A private burial will take place in Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
