Jamie Elizabeth Derst

Mrs. Jamie E. Derst, age 84, died Thursday at Eagle Health and Rehab under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was a native of Wadley, Georgia, had lived in Statesboro for the last thirteen years and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Savannah. Mrs. Derst was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Christian Derst, Jr., and two sons, Lee Christian Derst, III and Mark Douglas Derst.

Survivors include her son, Craig (Terry) Derst of Statesboro; two grandchildren, Jason Douglas (Rhonda) Derst and Shannon Casey Derst.

Services and entombment will be held Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Bulloch Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Elder Lee Chambers officiating.
