

Mr. Larry Delano Browning, age 67, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012. He was a native of Laurens County, and resided in Bulloch County for the past twenty six years. Mr. Browning was a charter member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Milton, Florida. He was enlisted in the United States Military for ten years, and served three tours of duty in Vietnam. Among awarded medals, he was a recipient of the Bronze Star of Valor and the Purple Heart. During and after his service he studied Mechanical Engineering, and was employed in the field until 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Carl Browning, Sr. and Frances Fordham Browing.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Tootle Browning; his children, Dale Wade (Gary), Larry Browning, Jr. (Dawn), Ricky Browning (Lori), Shaun Browning (Kimberly); step children, Robert Smith, Jr. (Jennifer), Kenneth Smith (LuAnne), Michelle Bryan (Rob); grandchildren, Jessica Ensman, Brandi Browning, Zachery Browning, Megan Browning, Ryan Browning, Kaitlyn Browning, Jonathan Browning, Ashley Browning, Jason (Destiny), Suzanna, Kristen, Krystal, Brittany, Jerry; great grandchildren, Peyton Ensman, Alex Smith, Emma Smith, Eden Smith; sisters, Daphene Daniel Howell (Edesl), Kay Browning Perry (Gary); brothers, Marvin Carl Browning, Jr. (Ethel), Delmas Browning Sr. (Nanzue; brother-in-law, Dr. Jerry Curtis Tootle (Janet); nieces, Phyllis Cullen, Stephanie Daniel, Vicki Woodard, Melanie Gunn, Mandy Cherry; nephews, Walt Daniel, Mike Browning, Delmas Browning, Jr., and Brad Perry.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Kevin E. Smith officiating.
