Roscoe Hill

Mr. Roscoe Hill, age 82, passed away Friday at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility. He was a lifelong resident of Bulloch County and farmed for many years. Mr. Hill received the Farmer of the Year Award for extensive land and farm improvement from the Water and Soil Conservation Department. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson riding 3 wheelers. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Hill, and his sister, Atheleane Donaldson.

Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Sylvia Aldrich Hill; one son, Larry Hill; one daughter, Linda (Tim) Robinson; one grandson, Chris Robinson, all of Statesboro; one sister, Letherine Steptoe of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Elder Howard Rushing officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Arnold Donaldson, W.C. Donaldson, Max Donaldson, Kole Donaldson Todd Aldrich, and Dell Saxon.

Interment will be in Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
