Thomas Lee Kurowski

Thomas Lee Kurowski, age 61, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 in his residence.

Lee was a born in Savannah and was raised in Pembroke, where he attended Bryan County High School. After high school, Lee joined the United States Army serving in Germany. He was a journeyman carpenter and had lived in Arizona, Nevada and California before returning to Savannah. Lee was an avid motorcycle rider, boater, fisherman and especially enjoyed cooking and baking.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lee Kurowski; brother, Stoney Kurowski and sister, Shirley Harris.

Lee is survived by his nephews, Paul G. Thomas, II and his wife, Christie of Brooklet and Christopher E. Thomas and Kimberly N. Wilson all of Brooklet; niece, Shannon Lee Hardin and her husband, Christopher of Clito; great-nieces and great-nephews, Jonathan Lee Leger, Patricia Ann Hardin, Mason Edward Thomas, Nicholas Evan Thomas, Ansley Thomas and Lawrence Thomas.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Mr. Kurowski’s residence at 6 W. 50 TH Street, Savannah, GA 31405.
