William H. "Bill" Bryant

" Mr. William H. Bryant, Jr., age 72, lost his battle with cancer and heart disease early Sunday morning surrounded by his loving family. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served two tours in

Vietnam . He was an avid fisherman and hunter who also enjoyed woodworking and is leaving behind a beautiful vegetable garden. He is predeceased by his father, William H. Bryant, Sr. and mother, Elizabeth F. Bryant.

After 26 years of life together, Bill is survived by Virginia Collins of Stilson ; a brother, Leroy Bryant (Carolyn), of Brooklet; sons, Norman Bryant and David Bryant; daughter, Angela Bryant, all of Germany; four step-sons, Russell, Chris, Randy and Joshua Collins; step-daughter, Angela Ford; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Reverend Larry Bird officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Ashbranch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
