

She was born June 20, 1933, in Cumberland, Maryland, and was the daughter of the late George Ryerson and Barbara Elizabeth Long Blake. She retired as a library technician from the Department of Defense after 28 years of service and was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Hagerstown. She was a former volunteer at the Maryland Theatre, at Hagerstown Community College ARCC, and with the Salvation Army. She was an active member with the Hagerstown Women’s Club and the Lioness Club. She also belonged to the Oak Ridge Garden Club and was an avid bridge player.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Edward Sellman, Jr., whom she married on November 28, 1953.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Lamberth of Statesville, NC; a son, Jeffery (Kim) Sellman of Inwood, WV; six grandchildren, Christopher Tucker, Sara (Adam) Ballesteros, Matthew Lamberth, Missy Lamberth, Samantha Sellman, and Cassidy Sellman; and two brothers, George R. Blake of Connecticut and Bernard R. (UnChong) Blake of Lynchburg, VA.
Private family services will be held at a later date in Hagerstown, Maryland.
