Mr. Billy Lee Johnson, 68, of Catawba, died Saturday at Catawba Valley Medical Center unexpectedly. Born in Iredell County on June 19, 1945, he was a son of the late Vaughn E. Jonson and Sarah Peacock Johnson.
Survivors include 3 sons, Robert Scott Johnson of Statesville, Eric Vaughn Johnson of Advance and Billy Lee Johnson, Jr. of Ocala, Fla. , a step daughter, Kimberly Johnson Stillwell , his soul mate, Sue Clanton, a brother, Michael Vaughn Johnson of Stony Point, a sister, Brenda Templeton of Statesville, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Thursday October 18, 2012 at the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. James Keever officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. Wednesday evening at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
