

STATESVILLE- Bobbie Nell Nesbit, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 27, 2016.
Born March 2, 1936 in Alexander County, she was the daughter to the late Dorothy Watts. Bobbie graduated from Happy Plains High School in Taylorsville. She retired from Hunt Manufacturing then devoted herself as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Bobbie loved flowers, gardening, canning, baking and her sport teams Carolina Tarheels and the Atlanta Braves. She was a devoted church member to Philadelphia United Methodist and loved her home church Liberty Grove Baptist.
In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Nesbit; brothers, JC Watts, Wade Parker, McDonald Parker, Jimmie Parker and Arthur Parker Jr. and sisters Estella Watts Thomas and Rosalee Williams.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory three children, Bradley Nesbit, Bonnie (Terry) Bellamy and Edward "Ed" (Debra) Nesbit; grandchildren, Kenya (Joe) Davis, EJ Nesbit, TJ (Valisa) Bellamy, Nerissa Nesbit, Jasmine Bellamy and Michelle (Jason) Sturdivant; great-grandchildren, Brandon Davis, Anthony and Aaliyah Nesbit, Kaylece Nesbit, Jayden and Jordan Ross, Jayden and Kayia Sturdivant; brother, Billy Ray (Pauline) Watts, Myron " Marvin" (Tina) Parker, Stanley (Connie) Parker and Johnnie Parker; sister, Faye Little; sister-in-laws, Clara Watts, Dottie Parker, and Ella Parker; aunts, Mary Watts and Sadie Battle; special niece, Mae Carrie Harris; special nephew, Chris Watts; special friends, Edith Derr, Hazel Alford, Clyde Moser and Jewel Flowers; and a host of loving neices, nephews and other family members.
A Celebration of Mrs. Bobbie's life will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 1 pm at Philadelphia United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm at the church.
