Florence “Franki” Elizabeth Pearson Hucke, 84, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Born December 7, 1941, in Missoula, Montana, she was the daughter of the late Iver Fridolf Pearson and the late Florence Alena French Pearson Littrell.
Franki will be remembered for the steady presence she brought to those around her and for the love she held for her family. She worked for Bali and took pride in her work. On June 18, 1977, Franki married William J Hucke. Her devotion was evident in the way she cared, supported, and remained present for her entire family throughout the years. She loved long car rides, finding simple comfort in time on the road and the ever-changing moments it offered. Franki was a woman of great faith. She was a member of Fallstown Baptist Church in Troutman, North Carolina. Franki was a God-fearing woman—strong-willed and stubborn—qualities that reflected both her determination and the convictions by which she lived.
Frankie is survived by her husband, William J Hucke of Statesville, North Carolina; her son, Terry Shawn Carroll of Florida; her daughter, Shari Dawn Woodall of Statesville, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Chris, Josh, T.J., Kassie, Michael, and Chelsea; and her great-grandchildren, Lydiah, Genesis, Savannah, and Mason.
