Gerald Martin Morris

Gerald Morris, 62 of Troutman passed peacefully at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center on October 1, 2016. Gerald was a painter and currently employed by Doosan Infracore in Statesville NC. He will be missed greatly and remembered vividly for the colorful and laughter filled life that he lead and all the smiles he gave to people.

Gerald was predeceased in death by his father, George L Morris and his sister Judy A Gero.

He is survived by his wife Susan Kaye Morris of Troutman NC; his mother, Ruth E Morris; of Fayetteville, NC; his 4 brothers Thomas, Terry, Stacy, and David Morris, and their wives all of Fayetteville NC; his step daughter, Amanda Tweihaus of Taylorsville, NC; his 2 grandchildren

Justin Ostwalt and Kayla Prevatte and their families of Statesville, NC as well as many friends and relatives.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 6-8pm at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home, 705 Davie Ave., Statesville, NC. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday 11am in the Bunch-Johnson Westmoreland Chapel with the interment to follow in Iredell Memorial Gardens, Statesville, NC.
