

Heather Benton Przasnyski of 866 Mocksville Highway Statesville, died unexpectedly Tuesday Dec. 14, 2010. She was 36. She was born in Iredell County on Sept. 9, 1974, to the late William Douglas Benton and Cynthia Ann Mendaloff Benton who survives. Also surviving are her two loving sons Kayden Robert Przasnyski, 6 and Cole Alexander Przasnyski, 4; two brothers, Michael Benton Mendaloff of Statesville, and Terry M. Benton (Cassey) of Taylorsville; a paternal grandmother, Blanche Brookshire Benton of Troutman; three aunts, Alexis Mendaloff Sensabaugh of Vinton, Va., Kay Benton Shook of Taylorsville, and Bonnie Cline Ward of Statesville; three uncles , Alexander Mendaloff III, Warren Benton, both of Statesville, and Blake Benton of Atlanta, Ga.; a grandmother, Frances Miller Mendaloff of Statesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Alexander Mendaloff Jr., Edna Pauline Josey Mendaloff, and her paternal grandfather John Robert Benton. She was employed by Shear Design and was an accomplished hair dresser and cosmetologist. She had an extensive clientele and was sought after for her talents as a beauty consultant. She enjoyed hunting, the beach, reading, her pets and travelling. Heather will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her passing leaves a hole in the world and in the lives of her children.
A trust for the benefit of Kayden and Cole has been established. In lieu of flower, the family requests that memorials be made to the donor's choice or The Kayden and Cole Przasnyski Trust, PO Box 168, Statesville, NC 28687-0168.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. A Service celebrating the life of Heather will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Western Avenue Baptist Church.
