James Marvin Hager

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shelby Henderson Hager; and by his grandparents, Marvin Henderson, Fannie Henderson, James E Hager, and Henrietta Hager.

James is survived by his father, James Ray Hager; his sisters, Amy Hager Dalton (Benny), and Kelli Hager Staley (Bill); his nieces, Kaylee Cash Alexander (Casey), Alexis Dalton, and Zoe Dalton; his great-niece, Huntlee Alexander; and his great-nephew, Huxton Alexander.

He graduated from West Iredell High School in 1999, and worked at JPS Components. He was a member of Calvary Community Church.

James was a big kid at heart, who brought a smile to everyone he met. He always had a way of making you laugh. He loved his family, and especially enjoyed spoiling his great-niece.

In his passing, he gave the gift of life to others by donating his organs.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July, 13, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Jayson Fox officiating.
