

He was born January 16, 9152, in Iredell County, and was a son of Jason Alexander and Doris Caroldean Little Lamberth both of whom survive and are of Statesville. Darryl worked for Engineered Sintered Components and was a member of Southview Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding with his son, NASCAR and all racing and his friends at work. On March 26, 2004, he married the former Laverne Sides who preceded him in death on June 1, 2011.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Christophor Darryl Lamberth and his wife, Brandy of Statesville; two daughters, Angela Lamberth of Mocksville and Sara Wingler and her husband, Scott of Statesville; four grandchildren, Joseph Lamberth, Isabella Lamberth, Ellie Wingler and Maylee Wingler; a brother, Kevin Lamberth and his wife, Debbie of Statesville; and a sister, Donna Lamberth of Mooresville.
Services celebrating Darryl's life will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday at Southview Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Duffer and Rev. Richard Whiteheart officiating. He will lie in state for one hour prior to the service while the family receives friends at the church. Burial will follow in the St. Martin's Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Steve Sterling, Dalton Overcash, Mike Mileski, Gary Lamberth, Jason Cook and Larry Greene.
