He was born March 15th, 1954, to Clarence Martin Mitchell and Willie Mae Mitchell of Iredell, N.C.
Keith was raised Baptist and later joined a Methodist church. He had a strong passion for singing. He had many interests and hobbies; hunting and fishing, Nascar racing, and watching the Carolina Panthers play football were amongst a few.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Willie Mitchell; his grandmother, Stella McBee; and his sister in law, Rose Mitchell.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bonnie Mitchell; brothers, Barry Mitchell and wife Pat, Roger Mitchell, and Jerry Mitchell and wife Jewelyn; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
