Larry William Tevepaugh

Larry William Tevepaugh, 78, of Troutman, N.C., passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on October 23, 2022. Larry was born November 23, 1943, to the late Arthur Reid Tevepaugh and Vernie Mae Jordan Tevepaugh, in Mooresville, N.C.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Kathryn Goodin Tevepaugh, and sister, Atha Lee Tevepaugh.

Larry is survived by his sons: Michael William (Amber) Tevepaugh, Mark Reid (Tara) Tevepaugh; grandchildren: Brylie, Christian, Kirsten, Jake, and Trinity Tevepaugh; and brother, Kenneth (Betty) Tevepaugh.

Larry was married to Kathy for 52 years before her passing, for many years he enjoyed singing with his beloved wife, and traveling in gospel groups. Larry loved sitting on the porch with Kathy while drinking coffee and watching hummingbirds visit.

Larry had a large skills set including, textile mechanics, welding, carpentry, auto body work, auto mechanic, and gardening.

He was a member of Houston Road Baptist Church in Troutman, N.C., and was a man of faith who loved Jesus.

A visitation will be held at Houston Road Baptist Church in Troutman, N.C., on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 10am -12pm. A funeral service will begin after the visitation at 12 pm, with Pastor Chancee Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
