Rev. Leonard Lee Middleton, Jr. ,75, of Statesville, North Carolina passed away on July 2, 2025, after an extended illness. He was born May 30, 1950, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late Leonard Middleton, Sr. and Alma Darty Middleton.
Leonard served in the US Army and later retired from the healthcare field. After retirement in 2014 he moved to Statesville. He also served as an Assistant Pastor at St. Joseph Baptist Church.
Leonard is survived by his wife Cynthia Middleton, sons, Chris Haigh (Mary), Allen Harris, Terry McMullen (Ashley), Anthony Harris, Antoine Harris and David Gray; daughters, Teresa Bennett and Sharron Harris; adopted children, Zeyrae Middleton, Jahaira Middleton and Leonard Middleton III, Tatyanna Matos; brother, Randolph Middleton, Sr.; sisters, Madelyn Mathis and Claudette Laster; and 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
