

Born January 27, 1951 in Surry County, she was the daughter of the late Monroe Gregory and Fairlea Speaks Gregory.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Guardino in 2000; son, James Guardino in 1987; two brothers, Willie Gregory and Johnny Gregory and one sister, Rosie Howard.
Mrs. Guardino worked as a cashier and waitress in the restaurant industry and was of the Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Ann Guardino and Lynn Guardino ; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild and one on the way; one brother, Curtis Gregory and four sisters, Mary Lee Barnette, Brenda Hager, Mae Campbell and Icelene Jordan.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 19, 2016 at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
The funeral service will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 12:00 PM in the Westmoreland Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. J. R. Speece and Rev. Stephen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
