

Born in Iredell County on October 8, 1930, she was the daughter of the late James Robert Hager and Annie Elizabeth Wilhelm Hager.
Margaret graduated high school and worked many years with Woolworth Department Store in the Sporting Goods department. Upon retirement, she worked at Memory Lane Greeting Cards store.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Michel Todd Pipkin (Rebecca) of Stanfield, NC, Kenneth Steven Pipkin of Statesville and Julie Anne Pipkin of Stanfield, NC; one sister, Aileen Danley (Charles) of Lake Horne, Mississippi; six grandchildren, Justin Pipkin, Mason Pipkin, Jessica Pipkin, Paul Pipkin, Bryan Pipkin and Lauren Pipkin and five great-grandchildren, Logan Pipkin, Ethan Pipkin, Landon Pipkin, Tyler Pipkin and Ashton Poplin.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
The funeral service honoring Margaret’s life will be Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Westmoreland Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Blue Door Cemetery.
